About Us

We are the Imperial College London student chapter of SIAM (Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics). Our student chapter is a rapidly growing society devoted to promoting interdisciplinary research and facilitating engagement between the applied mathematics community of Imperial College London and industry. This is achieved through the organisation of a number of regular events, from seminars to themed afternoons and conferences. In this way, the Chapter provides a unique forum for like-minded and passionate young researchers to interact and share a common interest in applied mathematics, scientific computing and industrial applications.
